SHELBY GT350 - C7 Corvette - 6th Gen Camaro Titanium Brake Pad Shims - Rear
We have 1mm Titanium Shims designed to fit the Brembo 4 Piston Caliper on both the Shelby GT350 as well as the C7 Corvette and Late Model Camaro with a 4 Piston Brembo Caliper. Fits Pad Shape 1718 and 1854.
Our shims are designed to limit heat transfer through the backing plate of the brake pad and into the brake caliper pistons. While the plate does not cover the entire pad surface it also does not completely insulate the backing plate of the pad from airflow. Our plates are cut from Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5)Titanium which is the material of choice for this application.
We offer these in 4 piece sets which will protect the caliper pistons from heat during track events helping prevent caliper seal damage, fluid boiling and they also help prevent the pistons from deforming the back plate surface at extended operating temperatures.
