7.3 Godzilla Timing Chain Set
We offer Godzilla Timing Chain Sets with multiple options and configurations.
We offer a basic 3 piece Kit which includes the Crank Gear, Timing Chain and VCT Cam Gear. You can add a new OEM Cam Bolt (VCT Valve) and with or without the Socket, as well as a Tensioner and Guide assembly.
We also will install a VCT Lock-out, 4° or 8° Travel Limiter for you so you can just bolt it on and go without a need for the tooling to properly and safely disassemble the VCT assembly.
The OEM VCT Cam Gear allows in excess of 50+° of Camshaft Retard which is great for Fuel Economy cruising down the highway but severely limits Power Protentional due to the possibility of Piston to Valve Interference if the VCT does not respond fast enough during transient operation with all but the most mild Camshafts available.
