GSC Power F150 Coyote Gen 3 Cam Set S1 Drop In Series
If you daily it and beat on it on weekends, this is your cam. The GSC S1 profile is engineered to wake up midrange and carry power cleanly to 7,700 rpm while keeping drivability intact. Profiles are modeled against real Gen 3 port behavior and rocker geometry, then cut from our U.S.-made forged billet blanks and finished with BLACK ISE for reduced friction and long life. Designed for stock (as-cast) heads and pump gas, race fuel, or ethanol blends (E85/E90). Tuners keep VCT online for a civilized idle and crisp throttle; when you go WOT, it hits harder across the usable band—not just at the peak. Direct Injection note: the high-pressure fuel pump (DI/HPFP) lobe is maintained to OEM specification—stroke and timing are retained for proper pump operation.
The S1 also shines on the road course with naturally aspirated setups—delivering crisp throttle response out of corners and a broad, usable powerband that pulls cleanly without sacrificing drivability.
Use case: Drop-in & street builds that want max performance under the curve at near-OEM peak power
Head spec: Optimized for OEM port cylinder heads (as-cast)
Fuel: Pump gas, race fuel, E85/E90
Peak profile: ~7,500 rpm horsepower target
Effective band: 5,000–7,700 rpm
Road course ready: Excellent for NA track builds; sharp throttle response and strong pull out of corners
Valve springs: OEM OK for NA & supercharged; turbo builds should pair with a GSC spring upgrade or if operating over 8100 rpm.
VCT: Compatible; retains street manners with proper tuning
DI fuel pump lobe: Maintains OEM lobe data for correct HPFP stroke/timing; compatible with factory and most upgraded DI pumps
Manufacturing: MADE IN THE USA; from U.S. sourced billet, BLACK ISE surface treatment, CNC to tighter-than-OEM tolerances
Fitment: 2018-2023 Gen 3 F150 5.0L
Tuning & Install Notes
Tune required to realize gains and maintain drivability
Events designed to maintain piston-to-valve clearance with OEM pistons and deck heights across the full phaser range
See install sheet for torque sequence and install procedures
For turbo setups, match with GSC springs and Ti retainers
New valve springs suggested for engines with more than 40k miles on the stock spring/cam configuration when installing cams.

About GSC Coyote Camshafts:
5.0L F150 GEN 3 Camshafts
You didn’t buy a 5.0 to blend in. Whether you’re staying NA, strapping on a blower, or chasing four-digit turbo numbers, GSC’s Gen 3 Coyote camshafts are built to hit harder across the entire RPM band.
These profiles aren’t guesswork—they’re the result of computer-aided simulation, decades of valvetrain engineering, and our proprietary port-balancing process that syncs valve events with real cylinder head flow. The result? Maximum lift, precise rocker geometry, and cams that keep VCT functionality so your Mustang stays civil at cruise and brutal at WOT.
At the core is GSC’s exclusive forged billet blank, made in-house from U.S. bearing-grade alloy steel—sourced from a single American mill for consistency you can trust. We finish every cam with our BLACK ISE surface treatment for friction reduction and extreme wear protection. Precision-machined on cutting-edge CNCs, these cams hold tighter tolerances than OEM and deliver repeatable, record-setting performance.
